After 10 unforgettable years barefoot on Pere Marquette Beach, the 11th annual Burning Foot Beer Festival is lighting up a new home on the lakeshore. New location. Same soul. Still craft beer first — with live music, local art, food, camping, and the community we’ve built from year one.
Why We Moved
We’ll be straight with you: Burning Foot needed to evolve to survive. After a couple of tough financial years, we were faced with a real choice — change or close up for good. Heritage Landing gives us a sustainable home, a stage already built for us, more breathing room, and a real shot at keeping this thing alive and growing. It wasn’t an easy call. It was the right one.
What Stays The Same
Everything that made you fall in love with Burning Foot is coming with us. Craft beer from our favorite Michigan breweries. Live music across multiple stages. Local artists doing their thing. Weekend camping with your crew. Food that actually slaps. A community of people who’d rather spend the last weekend of summer toes-down and beer-up with their favorite weirdos than anywhere else.
What Gets Better
Heritage Landing is still on the water — just Muskegon Lake instead of Lake Michigan. You get easier access, real parking, walkable downtown lodging, and a layout that actually flows. Shorter lines. More room for more breweries. A built-in stage. Better everything-behind-the-scenes, so we can spend more time on the stuff that makes the festival special.

We hear you. We miss it too. Ten years on that sand shaped who Burning Foot is, and nothing replaces that.
